Hostess

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Hostess to join the front‑of‑house team at the Fes Marriott Hotel. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth seating experience in our dining areas.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, determine party size and escort them to a clean, available table.
• Pull out chairs, place menus, napkins, silverware and ensure each setting meets hotel standards.
• Arrange tables and chairs for groups with special needs and monitor dining‑room flow.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift, following clean‑as‑you‑go procedures.
• Check menus for accuracy, cleanliness and availability.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies; report any incidents promptly.
• Maintain a professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Answer telephone calls with proper etiquette and assist guests with inquiries.
• Support team members to achieve common service goals.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior experience required; training will be provided.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods.
• Capability to lift, carry or move objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Strong communication skills and a courteous demeanor.
