HR & Recruiting Intern (Remote)

About the role

The HR & Recruiting Intern will support the full hiring cycle for a remote‑first AI‑focused company. You will work closely with the HR team and cross‑functional partners to ensure a smooth candidate experience and effective onboarding.

Key responsibilities

• Post job openings, screen applications, and coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring teams.
• Assist with interview scheduling, maintain candidate records, and keep management informed throughout the recruiting cycle.
• Help with onboarding and training logistics for new hires, including preparing documentation and supporting orientation activities.
• Collaborate daily with cross‑functional and HR teams to improve recruiting workflows and deliver a positive candidate experience.

Required skills

• Recruiting and hiring processes, including interview assessment.
• Use of Notion, Airtable or similar tools with automation features.
• Building and improving homemade applicant tracking systems (ATS) for candidate organization.
• Using AI to create interviews, questionnaires, and recruitment assessments.
• Creating engaging job applications and communicating company culture.
• Designing HR onboarding materials, documentation, videos, and AI copilots.
