Industrial Cybersecurity Compliance & Strategy Trainee

About the role

Alstom is looking for a motivated Industrial Cybersecurity Compliance & Strategy Trainee to support the AMECA region from Casablanca. You will apply your cybersecurity knowledge to help map regulations, support project execution, and contribute to supplier management in a fast‑moving rail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, analyse and document cybersecurity regulations and laws across the AMECA region.
• Map regional and national requirements against international standards such as IEC 62443.
• Maintain an overview of country‑level cybersecurity strategies.
• Provide cybersecurity input for RFPs, including compliance matrices and supplier requirements.
• Support evaluation of supplier cybersecurity posture.
• Assist with cybersecurity design activities for the Abidjan (Ivory Coast) project.
• Manage project cybersecurity requirements to ensure alignment with regulations and standards.
• Participate in product and system cybersecurity compliance reviews during design, implementation and delivery phases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, electronics, computer science or a related field.
• Experience in information technology and cybersecurity.
• Preferably experience with embedded or industrial systems (railway or aeronautics).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and regulations (ISO 2700X, IEC 62443, NIST).
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA, CEH are a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving, coordination and communication abilities.
• Dynamic, autonomous and creative mindset.

• IEC 62443, ISO 2700X, NIST frameworks.
• Network Access Control (NAC), Identity & Access Management (IAM), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Security Information & Event Management (SIEM), Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS).
