Injection Molding Responsible

About the role

A leading international automotive company is looking for an Injection Molding Responsible to manage and supervise daily injection molding activities and ensure production targets for quality, cost and delivery are met.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily injection molding activities and optimize processes and machine performance.
• Analyze production data and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead troubleshooting of molds, machines and process parameters, and coordinate mold maintenance and new mold trials.
• Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards and customer requirements.
• Train and develop production and technical teams.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance and Industrial Engineering departments.
• Monitor KPIs and prepare regular performance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, plastics engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in injection molding within the automotive industry.
• Fluent English; French is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of injection molding processes, molds and plastic materials.
• Experience with process optimization and problem-solving.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA and SPC.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement tools.
