Internal Audit AI & Data Analytics Intern (PFE)

About the role

A leading global automotive company is looking for a highly motivated Internal Audit AI & Data Analytics Intern to join its MEA Internal Audit team. The internship focuses on supporting the development and use of AI and data analytics within Internal Audit, working alongside internal auditors to analyze data, support audit activities and help develop new approaches and tools.

Key responsibilities

• Support internal auditors in using AI and data analytics throughout audit activities
• Collect, structure and analyze data to identify relevant insights
• Contribute to the development of data-driven approaches and tools for Internal Audit
• Support the preparation of audit work programs and data analyses
• Formalize analysis results and contribute to audit working papers
• Present findings clearly and in a structured way to support audit conclusions
• Support the development of questionnaires and analytical approaches for whistleblowing investigations
• Assist auditors with data-driven analyses for specific investigation needs

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Master's degree (or equivalent) in Audit, Finance, Data Analytics, Business, Engineering or a related field
• Strong interest in Internal Audit, AI and Data Analytics
• Fluent professional English and French
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and multicultural environment

Required skills

• Good command of Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of data analytics or visualization tools is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to communicate complex information clearly
