About the role
The Laundry Attendant is responsible for operating and monitoring washing, dry‑cleaning and drying equipment, ensuring all linen and garments are processed to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Key responsibilities
- Operate washing, dry‑cleaning and drying machinery, add chemicals, and clean lint traps.
- Identify stained or damaged items and decide on repair, spot‑treatment, rewash or discard.
- Inspect cleaned articles, fold them to designated sizes, and place them in clean linen carts.
- Maintain accurate records of laundered items and perform routine equipment cleaning.
Required profile
- Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods and lift objects up to 25 lb.
- Willingness to follow safety, security and company policies, including uniform standards.
- Capability to work in confined or elevated spaces and navigate uneven or slippery surfaces.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and supporting team goals.
