Maintenance Engineer – Morocco Plant

About the role

A Morocco plant is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer. The role covers the upkeep of facilities, machinery and equipment so they run safely and efficiently, and includes managing maintenance plans, spare parts and the maintenance budget.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the uninterrupted, safe and efficient operation of facilities, machinery and equipment.
• Develop, implement and monitor periodic and preventive maintenance (TPM) plans.
• Minimise downtime by responding quickly to malfunctions and preventing recurrence through root cause analysis (RCA).
• Manage the inventory of critical spare parts and oversee procurement processes.
• Carry out maintenance and repair work in line with occupational health and safety (OHS) and environmental regulations.
• Manage the maintenance budget.
• Coordinate external service providers, suppliers and subcontractor teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven maintenance experience, preferably in the automotive industry or manufacturing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance issues.
• Fluency in French and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office programs.
• SAP systems or process automation tools.
