Production Engineer - Morocco Plant

About the role

A Production Engineer position is open at the Morocco plant. The engineer manages and coordinates daily and weekly production processes in line with production plans, leads efficiency improvements and supervises the production team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, coordinate and monitor daily and weekly production processes according to production plans.
• Lead improvement initiatives to increase line efficiency, capacity utilization and OEE.
• Analyze production downtime and scrap/waste to develop root-cause solutions.
• Promote lean manufacturing techniques such as 5S, Kaizen, SMED and Kanban on the shop floor.
• Supervise and manage the blue-collar production team, including shift scheduling and workforce planning.
• Ensure compliance with OHS, environmental and quality standards (e.g. IATF 16949, ISO 9001).
• Take part in new product introduction (APQP/PPAP) and process development projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in production roles, particularly in the automotive sector.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
• Fluency in French and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office programs.
• SAP systems or process automation tools.
