Medical Science Liaison – Neuroscience

About the role

Lead scientific engagement with Medical Experts in the neuroscience therapeutic area. The role implements clinical and educational strategies and responds to unsolicited medical enquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with Medical Experts (MEs) to provide scientific education and support.
• Identify and map key MEs and accounts, spotting opportunities to involve them when specific medical needs arise.
• Develop and execute ME engagement plans aligned with the country strategy.
• Respond to unsolicited requests for information from MEs.
• Support Novartis clinical research programs, optimise trial execution and provide scientific education to study sites.
• Facilitate Investigator Initiated Trial (IIT) processes upon investigator request.
• Serve as a medical resource to field matrix colleagues.
• Report technical complaints, adverse events or special case scenarios within 24 hours.

Required profile

• Medical, pharmacy or life‑science degree (MD, PharmD, PhD or equivalent).
• Experience in Medical Affairs, Clinical Research or related scientific roles within the pharmaceutical or healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated experience in cross‑functional collaboration and project execution.
