Payroll and Personal Affairs Specialist

About the role

The Payroll and Personal Affairs Specialist will manage end‑to‑end payroll operations and support employee personal‑affairs matters. This position requires high accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to work closely with HR, finance, and external agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, review and process employee time‑and‑attendance data.
• Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses and other compensation components.
• Ensure payroll compliance with company policies, tax regulations and local labor laws.
• Prepare and distribute payslips, payroll reports and related documentation.
• Collaborate with finance and HR to reconcile payroll discrepancies.
• Respond to employee inquiries on payroll, benefits and personal‑affairs topics.
• Support onboarding and off‑boarding processes, maintaining accurate employee records in the HR information system.
• Manage leave requests and coordinate with external vendors for related services.
• File payroll tax returns, assist in audits and prepare reports for management.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities and help implement system enhancements and automation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience in payroll processing and personal‑affairs support.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
