The College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences (CAES) at University Mohammed VI Polytechnic seeks a motivated postdoctoral researcher to investigate the interactions of various fertilizer formulations within the water‑soil‑plant‑atmosphere continuum. The role combines laboratory experimentation with numerical modeling to advance sustainable agricultural practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design and conduct laboratory experiments on fertilizer dynamics in soils.
• Collaborate with the research group to develop and calibrate process‑based models.
• Prepare soil samples and perform physico‑chemical property measurements.
• Analyze experimental and modeling results to elucidate fertilizer‑environment interactions.
• Write high‑quality scientific manuscripts for peer‑reviewed journals.
• Mentor master’s and PhD students involved in related projects.

Required profile

• PhD in agronomy, soil science, environmental engineering, or a closely related field.
• Strong background in fertilizer experiments and related analytical techniques.
• Demonstrated record of publications in reputable scientific journals.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and French.
