Postdoctoral Researcher – Sustainable Logistics Architecture

About the role

The Green Tech Institute at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University seeks a Postdoctoral Researcher to design and implement an integrated, resilient, and sustainable logistics architecture for the JORF‑Lasfar site. The role focuses on optimizing routing, storage, and loading flows while reducing costs, energy consumption, and carbon emissions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze current logistics processes and identify levers for cost and lead‑time reduction.
• Develop risk‑management models to enhance supply‑chain resilience against disruptions.
• Design and implement energy‑management and CO₂‑reduction strategies within the logistics network.
• Integrate the new architecture into the JORF‑Lasfar ERP system.
• Monitor emerging technologies and methodological innovations in logistics.
• Publish research findings in high‑impact Q1 journals and indexed conferences.

Required profile

• PhD in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong background in logistics optimization and sustainable supply‑chain design.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary research and industrial teams.
