Product Business Development

About the role

As a Product Business Specialist at TE Connectivity, you will drive product‑related growth by identifying market opportunities, supporting new product development, and delivering technical and market insights. You will act as the bridge between engineering, sales, and customers to ensure our products remain competitive and aligned with market needs.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed market and competitor analysis, maintain the Competition Database, and identify gaps for product innovation.
• Lead initiatives to increase product adoption, collaborate with Account Managers on new business opportunities, and develop Competition Replacement strategies.
• Partner with Sales and Engineering to define new product development opportunities, support TERP forecasting, and provide technical input during development phases.
• Serve as the primary liaison for product inquiries, support field engineers and customer service teams, and conduct on‑site visits to gather feedback.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for product performance, conversion rates, and NPD success; prepare regular reports on market trends and business growth.

Required profile

• Engineering or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, Business, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of proven success in product management, business development, or strategic sales.
• Strong understanding of product development processes, market analysis, and pricing strategies.
• Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills with fluency in English.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across diverse markets and cultures.
