Product Engineer – Wiring & Process Assembly

About the role

As a Product Engineer at Lear Corporation, you will coordinate and optimise resources within the product engineering area to drive the development and launch of new products and modifications. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure standards, documentation and material approvals are met.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and optimise resources to achieve engineering objectives.
• Secure approval of new materials, manage sample production and standardise processes and specifications.
• Handle technical manufacturing documentation from creation to archiving or destruction.
• Plan, organise and control product engineering activities, including productivity, approvals and new‑product launches.
• Monitor manufacturing stations, manage prototypes, samples, spares and series start‑ups.
• Establish systems for standardisation, logic and optimisation of work (BOM, APD time, etc.).
• Collaborate with engineering, other departments and company units.
• Ensure project completion and provide support to the team.
• Apply company standards and policies within the area of responsibility.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Bac+5) with at least 3 years of experience in wiring activity, especially process assembly.
• Strong analytical, methodical and organisational abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in both English and French, spoken and written.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency.
