Production Supervisor – Shift Operations

About the role

STMicroelectronics is seeking a Shift Production Supervisor to lead safe, efficient, and high‑quality manufacturing during assigned shifts. You will coordinate teams, monitor output, and drive continuous improvement in a fast‑paced semiconductor environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure production execution follows planning, priorities, and procedures.
• Monitor daily output and achieve targets for OEE, yield, scrap, and cycle time.
• Coordinate shift handovers and allocate manpower based on workload.
• Lead, coach, and motivate operators and technicians.
• Maintain compliance with quality standards, work instructions, and process parameters.
• React quickly to deviations, support investigations, and implement corrective actions.
• Enforce safety rules, promote a safety culture, and stop production when risks arise.
• Provide first‑level troubleshooting and coordinate with Maintenance, Process Engineering, and Quality teams.
• Participate in Lean initiatives (5S, Kaizen, SMED, standard work) and implement improvement actions.
• Prepare shift reports and ensure proper documentation and traceability.

Required profile

• Junior engineer or equivalent with strong leadership potential.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
