Remote QA Engineer – SaaS Testing

About the role

SupportYourApp is looking for a skilled QA Engineer to join its global, multilingual support team. You will work fully remotely, collaborating with product owners, developers and other QA professionals to ensure high‑quality SaaS and software releases.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test plans from functional and technical specifications.
• Create, maintain, and execute manual test cases in Zephyr integrated with JIRA.
• Participate in daily squad stand‑ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives in an Agile environment.
• Log, track and manage defects in JIRA, verify fixes and coordinate retesting.
• Validate user stories against acceptance criteria before release.
• Apply Shift‑Left testing by engaging early in the development lifecycle.
• Partner with Frontend engineers to convert manual scenarios into automated scripts using Cucumber, Gherkin and Playwright.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, enhancing automated test coverage.
• Perform network, performance, smoke and visual regression testing in production environments.

Required profile

• Excellent English communication (C1 level).
• 4‑5 years of hands‑on QA experience in SaaS or software product companies.
• Strong understanding of testing principles, SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Shift‑Left testing and CI/CD integration.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and detail‑oriented.
