Reservations Agent – Luxury Hospitality

About the role

The Reservations Agent processes all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations, ensuring guests receive accurate information and exceptional service in a luxury hotel environment. This role supports the front‑office team by handling inquiries, special requests, and providing clear guidance on rates and policies.

Key responsibilities

• Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
• Identify guest needs, verify room availability, and explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies.
• Enter reservation data accurately into the reservation system, including special room types and discount codes.
• Accommodate and document special requests, answer questions about property facilities, and follow sales techniques to maximize revenue.
• Escalate guest concerns according to proper procedures and maintain confidentiality of guest and company information.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
