Sales Development Specialist - Air and Ocean Freight

About the role

The Sales Development Specialist implements commercial and marketing strategies aligned with the group's objectives, ensuring the continuity of existing contracts and growing revenue in line with annual sales targets. The role covers prospecting, selling air and ocean transport solutions and managing client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect new clients and retain existing ones, and present and sell air and ocean transport solutions.
• Prepare commercial offers and presentations, negotiate and finalize contracts, and oversee the onboarding of new clients.
• Ensure operations comply with contracts and standards, and manage and analyze feedback and complaints.
• Collaborate with teams to align objectives, coordinate resources and responses to client feedback, and provide recommendations to resolve client issues.
• Conduct competitive and market intelligence, and analyze operations and results to identify trends and advise management.
• Implement department policies and procedures, complete and process sales forms and documents, update the CRM, and perform other assigned tasks.

Required profile

• Degree in business, marketing, logistics and transport, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proven experience in B2B sales, lead conversion and account management.
• Knowledge of the Morocco market.
• Fluent in French and English, with excellent verbal and written communication.

Required skills

• Strong negotiation skills and knowledge of international sea and air freight.
• Experience working with freight forwarders, shipping lines and similar entities.
• Experience using a CRM.
• Able to build long-term customer relationships and manage multiple clients and priorities.
