Science Teacher

About the role

The school is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to plan, deliver, and assess science lessons for students. The role involves close collaboration with academic coordinators, psychologists, and parents to support student learning and well‑being.

Key responsibilities

• Plan lessons in advance, send plans to the Head of Level and Academic Coordinator, and prepare necessary classroom materials.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date grade book, enter grades on schedule, and design monthly assessments.
• Grade all assigned work, keep the classroom environment engaging, and supervise playground duties.
• Collaborate with the Psychology Department to support students with academic, behavioral, or special‑needs issues.
• Participate in meetings, workshops, parent conferences, and school activities.
• Record daily attendance, organize student portfolios, and monitor homework boards.
• Promote open communication with students, parents, and staff, and encourage participation in extracurricular projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.
• Advanced proficiency in English (spoken, reading, writing).
• Ability to work under pressure, strong organizational and analytical skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital tools, specifically intermediate‑level Microsoft Office.
