Senior Fullstack Engineer

About the role

Yakeey is a fast-growing PropTech company based in Casablanca, Morocco, that connects buyers, sellers, renters and agents through a single digital platform covering a property marketplace, a credit application and processing platform and a valuation tool. As a Senior Fullstack Engineer with T-shaped skills, you will own a specific domain (marketplace, credit or valuation) while keeping your work aligned with the platform's architecture and collaborating with other domain teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain your domain's full stack: micro-services in Java/Spring Boot following domain-driven design, and high-performance user interfaces in React.js and Next.js following the design system.
• Design and expose APIs that connect your domain with other platform components, using the Model Context Protocol (MCP) where applicable.
• Build reusable frontend components that consume those APIs and ensure an accessible user experience.
• Keep frontend and backend design decisions consistent with global architecture patterns, guidelines and cross-team agreements.
• Work with data, DevOps and AI teams to understand dependencies and integration points.
• Take part in architectural discussions, code reviews and continuous delivery, and mentor junior developers.

Required profile

• Solid experience building frontend and backend systems, with deep expertise in Java/Spring Boot, React.js, Next.js, TypeScript and MUI.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, state management, UI/UX best practices, microservices, RESTful API design and domain-driven design; design systems, component libraries and event-driven patterns are a plus.
• Experience deploying applications on AWS and familiarity with Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Demonstrated interest in AI technologies such as intelligent agents, LLMs, MCP and RAG.
• Excellent communication skills and collaboration with other teams; knowledge of fintech, proptech or regulated domains is beneficial.
