About the role
This position is an integral part of a European retailer’s expansion in Morocco, focusing on growing business opportunities and strengthening supplier relationships across key apparel categories.
Key responsibilities
- Drive category growth and unlock new business opportunities across woven, tailoring, jersey, denim, and knitwear.
- Manage and monitor key performance indicators to ensure targets are met.
- Lead and develop a small team, providing motivation and guidance.
- Negotiate competitive pricing with suppliers to achieve strong margins.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a senior merchandiser, preferably within a sourcing office.
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
- Strong leadership abilities with a track record of motivating and developing teams.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
