Teacher Assistant

About the role

The Khalil Gibran School Rabat is seeking a Teacher Assistant to support teachers in delivering high‑quality lessons and to help students with their academic and personal development. The role involves assisting in classroom activities, providing individualized support, and contributing to a positive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support teachers in preparing and delivering engaging lessons across various subjects.
• Assist individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
• Maintain a positive classroom atmosphere, ensuring discipline and safeguarding standards.
• Help with classroom organization, material preparation, and administrative tasks.
• Supervise students during lessons, activities, and school breaks as required.
• Observe, monitor, and report on student progress to teachers.
• Collaborate with teaching staff, parents, and the wider school community to promote student well‑being.
• Encourage independence, confidence, and positive social interactions among students.
• Support inclusion by assisting students with additional learning needs.

Required profile

• Relevant experience working with children, ideally in a school or educational setting.
• Strong understanding of child development and learning processes.
• Collaborative, adaptable, and supportive attitude.
