Validation Component Leader – Powertrain

About the role

Stellantis is seeking a Validation Component Leader (VCL) to drive verification and validation of Engine Control Modules (ECM) across ICE, Hybrid and EV powertrain projects. The role ensures functional, electrical and electronic compliance while supporting performance, emissions, fuel consumption and drivability targets.

Key responsibilities

• Define, manage and maintain the Verification & Validation Plan (VVP).
• Coordinate validation activities on HIL benches, powertrain benches, integration benches and vehicles.
• Ensure software pre‑acceptance and acceptance before release to projects.
• Analyze software defects, technical issues and non‑conformities.
• Support root‑cause analysis and technical issue resolution.
• Review supplier deliverables, validation plans and reports.
• Monitor validation progress, risks and milestones with project teams.
• Support vehicle validation under extreme conditions (hot, cold, altitude).
• Maintain reporting, traceability, KPI follow‑up and documentation compliance.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience in automotive validation, embedded systems or powertrain development.
• Strong analytical, reporting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to coordinate cross‑functional activities and suppliers.
