Wellbeing Coach (Student Support)

About the role

Inspired Education is seeking a compassionate Wellbeing Coach to join its school community. The coach will work directly with students, providing one‑to‑one and small‑group support to help them overcome emotional, social, behavioural, physical, or mental health challenges that affect learning and engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Build trusting relationships with students to foster resilience and confidence.
• Deliver targeted interventions such as nurture groups, emotional literacy sessions, and self‑regulation activities.
• Apply evidence‑informed coaching frameworks to help students set goals, solve problems, and develop self‑management skills.
• Manage a caseload, monitor progress, and refer students to external professionals when needs exceed the role’s scope.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, SEN staff, families, and external partners to ensure a coordinated approach to student wellbeing.

Required profile

• Dedicated, reflective, and empathetic professional with a passion for student wellbeing.
• Experience working with children or adolescents in an educational or pastoral setting.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
