Associate Banker – Corporate Agribusiness

About the role

The Associate Banker will be based in Casablanca, Morocco, reporting to the Director, Head of Morocco. Focused on the corporate agribusiness sector, the role supports all phases of the project cycle – from origination and structuring to execution, implementation and monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Work as a project team member on transactions, collaborating with client counterparts, consultants and other parties.
• Lead the scope and quality of project due‑diligence, covering financial, market, integrity and policy compliance.
• Prepare internal project documentation such as approval memoranda, financial models, draft term sheets and presentations.
• Design and process technical co‑operation assistance, ensuring alignment with investment approval schedules.
• Monitor project implementation, financial performance and covenant compliance, preparing timely monitoring reports and recommending corrective actions.

Required profile

• Experience in corporate banking or project finance, preferably with exposure to the agribusiness sector.
• Ability to work under the guidance of an operation leader or senior banker.
• Strong analytical skills for comprehensive due‑diligence and monitoring.
• Good communication skills for interaction with clients, consultants and internal teams.
