Bar Supervisor

About the role

The Bar Supervisor leads the bar team to deliver high‑quality, efficient beverage service that enhances the guest experience while complying with all licensing and safety regulations. This position is based on‑site within a Hilton property and reports to the Food & Beverage Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an effective bar service with a focus on quality and efficiency.
• Set, monitor, and continuously evaluate guest service standards.
• Prepare the outlet according to operational standards each shift.
• Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and conduct related staff training.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of all bar beverages and ensure the team is equally trained.
• Enforce health, safety, and fire regulations and ensure all team members understand procedures.
• Maintain impeccable uniform standards for all staff.
• Manage sudden staff shortages and report absences per company policy.
• Complete required administration for all team members.
• Maximise revenue through upselling, high service standards, and effective training.
