About the role
We are seeking a motivated and commercially driven Business Development Consultant to support our market expansion in Morocco. The role focuses on creating new business opportunities, building strong distributor relationships, and driving sales growth within the local lighting, electrical, construction, and building‑materials sectors.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and expand business opportunities in the Moroccan market.
- Identify, approach, and onboard distributors, contractors, consultants, and project customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local partners and clients.
- Conduct market research, provide market intelligence, competitor analysis, and customer feedback.
- Support project follow‑up and commercial negotiations.
- Coordinate with the regional team on sales activities and market developments.
- Attend client meetings, exhibitions, and industry events as required.
- Prepare regular business development and activity reports.
Required profile
- Proven experience in business development, sales or channel development, preferably in lighting, electrical products, construction materials or related industries.
- Good understanding of the Moroccan market and local business environment.
- Existing customer or distributor network is an advantage.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently.
- Fluent in English and French or Arabic.
- Valid driving license.
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
