Butler Manager

About the role

The Butler Manager leads a dedicated team of butlers to deliver premium, personalized service to guests in luxury hospitality settings such as hotels, resorts or cruise lines. This role ensures that every guest interaction meets the highest standards of elegance, efficiency and attentiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of exceptional butler services, ensuring all guest orders, requests and enquiries are fulfilled promptly.
• Conduct embarkation inspections of VIP suites and guarantee in‑suite arrival procedures align with brand standards.
• Lead, coach, train and develop the Butler Team, fostering a culture of superior service performance.
• Mentor the Senior Butler to prepare them for future managerial responsibilities.
• Monitor and achieve brand‑defined performance targets and KPIs for the team.

Required profile

• Minimum two (2) years of Butler or guest‑facing experience in a luxury hotel, resort or cruise line environment.
• Professional Butler or luxury service certification (e.g., International Butler Academy) is an advantage.
• Previous shipboard experience is highly preferred.
• Fluent English (verbal and written) with excellent communication skills; additional languages such as French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Mandarin, Arabic or Japanese are assets.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities, capable of motivating and developing a culturally diverse workforce.
