Data Engineer

About the role

ALTEN MAROC is looking for a Data Engineer to join its growing data team in Morocco. The role focuses on building and maintaining data pipelines and business applications using Palantir Foundry, Snowflake, and Power BI, supporting internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain data processing pipelines on Palantir Foundry.
• Transform and cleanse data using Python, ensuring dataset quality and proper documentation.
• Configure and monitor automated schedule refreshes.
• Create business applications on Foundry (Workshop, Contour, Slate) including interactive interfaces, dashboards and data entry forms.
• Integrate heterogeneous data sources such as APIs, SharePoint, relational databases and existing data warehouses.
• Leverage Snowflake for data exploration, preparation and advanced SQL queries.
• Build data models and decision‑making reports in Power BI, writing DAX measures and designing user‑friendly layouts.
• Provide technical and functional support to business teams using Foundry tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Bac+5) in a relevant field.
• 1‑3 years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Proven autonomy on the Palantir Foundry ecosystem (pipelines, Ontology, Workshop, Contour, Slate).
• Strong Python programming skills for data processing.
• Solid SQL knowledge, preferably in a Snowflake environment.
• Good command of Power BI, including data modeling and DAX.
• Experience integrating diverse data sources (APIs, SharePoint, etc.).
• Professional attitude with strong communication skills.
