Executive Housekeeper – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Executive Housekeeper leads daily housekeeping, recreation/health club, and laundry operations at the Taghazout Bay Marriott Resort. Reporting to senior management, you will ensure guest rooms, public areas, and employee spaces are impeccably clean and maintained, while supporting guest satisfaction and budgetary goals.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee shift operations for housekeeping, recreation/health club, and laundry (if applicable).
• Coordinate with Front Desk to communicate room status promptly.
• Work with Engineering to address guestroom maintenance needs.
• Manage the general cleaning schedule and assign work based on room turnover.
• Maintain inventory of supplies, order guestroom and cleaning items, and ensure staff have necessary equipment and uniforms.
• Conduct inspections of guestrooms and public spaces, enforce standards, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Monitor departmental expenses, assist with budgeting, and strive to meet or exceed financial targets.
• Handle guest complaints, promote exceptional service, and empower staff to deliver high‑quality experiences.
• Participate in HR activities, including staffing, accident investigations, and consistent policy enforcement.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of housekeeping or related experience, **or** a 2‑year degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other departments.

Required skills

• Knowledge of housekeeping procedures and standards.
• Experience with inventory management and supply ordering.
• Understanding of budgeting and cost control in a hospitality setting.
