Expert 3D Harness Development Engineer

About the role

The Expert 3D Harness Development Engineer will lead the design, validation and industrialisation of electrical wiring harnesses in a PLM‑driven environment for Stellantis. You will ensure technical robustness, cost and schedule convergence, and the quality of all 3D/2D deliverables throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse project needs and define appropriate harness solutions based on functional, technical and environmental requirements.
• Lead cost and schedule negotiations, secure commitments and align stakeholders.
• Prepare weekly dashboards, facilitate project reviews, track KPIs and manage risk mitigation.
• Validate 3D models, 2D drawings, BOMs and PLM data for compliance and completeness.
• Conduct design robustness reviews, technical assessments and risk analyses.
• Create and optimise 3D routing in CATIA V6, managing mechanical and electrical constraints.
• Maintain consistency between 3D models, 2D schematics and electrical definitions.
• Produce 2D harness drawings for supplier RFQs and related documentation.
• Manage harness references within the PLM system.
• Coordinate technical exchanges with suppliers, validate proposals and monitor quality and delivery performance.

Required profile

• Strong technical leadership with the ability to guide cross‑functional teams.
• Experience in supplier management and engineering change processes (ECR).

Required skills

• Expert proficiency in CATIA V6 for electrical harness design.
• Deep knowledge of harness components, connectors, protections and electrical standards.
• Advanced command of PLM environments.
• Ability to analyse mechanical, thermal and vibratory constraints affecting routing.
• Expertise in 2D schematics, drawings, BOM creation and supplier consultation packages.
