Fitness Coach – Spa & Wellness

About the role

The Fairmont Taghazout Bay resort is seeking a dedicated Fitness Coach to join its Spa and Wellness team. Reporting to the Spa Manager, you will deliver professional, friendly, and engaging fitness services to guests in a luxurious 5‑star environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consistent, high‑quality fitness services and maintain a welcoming attitude.
• Supervise and ensure adherence to all fitness protocols and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of workout areas and equipment.
• Inspect equipment regularly, report issues, and coordinate work orders promptly.
• Plan and lead individual, group, and on‑the‑job training sessions.
• Stay knowledgeable about cardiovascular and strength‑training equipment, their programs, correct usage, compliance, and safety.
• Continuously develop personal expertise and knowledge in fitness.
• Communicate effectively to achieve high guest satisfaction.
• Assist in recruiting, developing, and training staff.
• Ensure staff scheduling aligns with productivity guidelines.
• Balance operational, administrative, and colleague needs.
• Follow department policies, hygiene standards, and safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a fitness instructor or personal trainer.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Valid first‑aid/CPR certification.
• Certification in a fitness‑related discipline.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Responsible, reliable, and able to work in a team.

Required skills

• Operation and maintenance of fitness equipment.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Windows applications.
• First‑aid/CPR certification.
