Manager, Health, Safety & Environment

About the role

You will lead the cultural transformation toward zero incidents and an optimal environmental footprint at a Mondelēz plant. The role ensures that health, safety and environmental programs are fully implemented, compliant with standards, and continuously improved.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and lead the cultural transformation regarding HSE to achieve zero accidents and incidents.
• Coordinate and oversee implementation of all Health & Safety programs and processes.
• Participate in investigations to close identified non‑conformances.
• Provide HSE expertise for new projects and change‑management activities.
• Follow up on non‑conformances and develop systems to resolve them based on root‑cause analysis.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date incident reporting system, assist with investigations, and drive corrective actions.
• Develop technical guidance programs to identify and remove physical hazards.

Required profile

• Experience in Environmental Health and Safety.
• Completed training in OSHA, EPA and DNREC standards.
• Experience with safety and/or environmental technical standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work with individuals at all levels.
• Understanding of regulatory reporting and compliance, including experience with ISO.
• No relocation support available.
