PCB Designer

About the role

Join ALTEN MAROC as a PCB Designer, contributing to cutting‑edge projects for international clients in automotive, rail, R&D, IT, telecommunications and media. You will be responsible for translating schematic designs into reliable, manufacturable printed circuit boards.

Key responsibilities

• Place electronic components (ICs, resistors, capacitors, connectors, etc.) on PCB layouts.
• Route signal, power, and ground traces while managing multilayer stack‑ups.
• Ensure signal integrity, EMC/EMI compliance, thermal performance and overall reliability.
• Apply design rules and manufacturing constraints (DFM, DFA, DFT).
• Prepare manufacturing documentation such as Gerbers, ODB++, pick‑and‑place files and BOMs.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (BAC+5) in embedded systems, electronics or a related engineering field.
• At least one successful experience in electronics hardware design or PCB layout.
• Strong understanding of electronics schematics and the ability to read datasheets and application notes.
• Attention to detail, precision and good problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• PCB design and component placement.
• Signal integrity and power integrity basics.
• Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC‑2221, IPC‑7351, IPC‑A‑610 is a plus).
• Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM), assembly (DFA) and testing (DFT).
• Proficiency in preparing Gerber, ODB++ and pick‑and‑place files.
