Program Leader – Automotive Projects

About the role

Aptiv is seeking a Program Leader to drive cross‑functional EMEA teams through the full product lifecycle, from customer nomination to serial production hand‑over. You will be the primary interface with customers, ensuring flawless execution, risk mitigation, and on‑time launch of cutting‑edge automotive solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end execution of assigned projects, meeting all deliverables and launch metrics.
• Develop and maintain the master project schedule and detailed project plan.
• Serve as the main customer liaison for program updates, reviews, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate activities across pilots, prototype builds, and production to guarantee a smooth start of serial production.
• Conduct regular program reviews, monitor risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Escalate critical issues and ensure synchronization between operational and project processes.
• Support launch readiness, oversee production ramp‑up, and drive continuous improvement through lessons learned.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years of project management experience in the automotive industry.
• Proven leadership and strong communication skills.
• Experience working with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
• Excellent risk and conflict management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
