R&D Process Engineer – Atlassian Tools (Jira/Confluence)

About the role

We are expanding our FAB Team and need an R&D Process Engineer focused on the Atlassian ecosystem. The role will harmonise Jira, Confluence and Jira Service Management across multiple Lines of Business, driving consistency, traceability and efficiency in a predominantly English‑speaking, international environment based in Casablanca.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and configure Jira projects, workflows, schemes, permissions and custom fields.
• Design, implement and maintain group‑wide, harmonised Jira processes and support teams in best‑practice adoption.
• Leverage AI‑powered features such as Atlassian Intelligence to improve issue creation, workflow optimisation and self‑service support.
• Map and manage end‑to‑end software delivery processes, ensuring traceability between Jira work items and GitHub development activities.
• Promote automation, data‑driven insights and AI‑based recommendations to increase delivery predictability.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Jira/Confluence and other systems.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, Release Management and Product teams, and produce clear documentation in Confluence.

Required profile

• Solid hands‑on experience with functional Jira administration and workflow design.
• Good understanding of Agile, Scrum and Kanban software development methodologies.
• Familiarity with source code management tools, particularly GitHub.
• Ability to coach cross‑functional teams and drive continuous improvement.
