R&D Process Engineer – Atlassian Tools (Jira/Confluence)

About the role

We are expanding our FAB Team and need an R&D Process Engineer specialized in Atlassian tools. You will help unify and streamline software delivery processes across multiple lines of business in an international, English‑speaking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and configure Jira projects, workflows, permissions, custom fields, and schemas.
• Design, implement and maintain harmonized Jira processes and promote best practices across the group.
• Leverage AI‑powered features such as Atlassian Intelligence to improve issue creation, workflow optimization and self‑service support.
• Support end‑to‑end software delivery processes, ensuring traceability between Jira work items and development activities (e.g., GitHub).
• Define, document and maintain release processes, encouraging automation and data‑driven insights.
• Integrate Jira and Confluence with other systems and produce clear documentation in Confluence.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, Release Management and Product teams, and facilitate workshops to standardize processes.

Required profile

• Solid hands‑on experience with functional Jira administration and workflow design.
• Good understanding of Agile, Scrum and Kanban software development methodologies.
• Familiarity with source‑code management tools, preferably Git and GitHub.
• Ability to coach and support cross‑functional teams in a multilingual, international setting.
