About the role
The company is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead the construction machinery business across Morocco. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building client relationships, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets in a competitive market.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the Moroccan market.
- Identify, approach, and negotiate with prospective clients, managing the full sales cycle from proposal to contract signing.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts and monitor performance against targets.
- Conduct regular market visits to uncover new opportunities and strengthen existing customer relationships.
- Analyse sales performance, KPIs and market intelligence to propose corrective actions and improvement plans.
- Collect competitor, pricing and customer insights to support regional sales planning.
- Oversee accounts receivable and invoicing processes to ensure timely collections and healthy cash flow.
- Take ownership of regional profitability and ensure annual sales targets are met or exceeded.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- 3‑5 years of sales experience in Morocco, preferably within the construction machinery sector.
- Strong knowledge of the Moroccan market; experience in other North‑African countries is a plus.
- Fluent in English and French.
- Proven negotiation, communication and relationship‑management abilities.
- Previous experience with reputable construction machinery companies is preferred.
