Senior Software Engineer – Radar Perception & Machine Learning

About the role

Stellantis is building an AI/Autonomous Driving division to create cutting‑edge automotive experiences. We are looking for a senior software engineer to lead the development of radar perception and sensor‑fusion algorithms, combining traditional signal processing with modern machine‑learning techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Research, design, and implement radar perception and radar/camera fusion solutions.
• Optimize and deploy models on Stellantis vehicles, ensuring real‑time performance.
• Collaborate with radar sensor engineering to evaluate product performance against perception requirements.
• Provide feedback to DevOps and MLOps teams to improve the software delivery pipeline.
• Work cross‑functionally with perception, robotics, and autonomous‑driving teams to solve system‑level challenges.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field; 1+ years of hands‑on radar perception or radar/camera fusion experience.
• 1+ years of experience in perception/robotics machine‑learning projects.
• 3+ years of object‑oriented programming in Python and/or C++.
• Proficiency with major ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Commitment to software‑engineering best practices (test‑driven development, version control, documentation).
