Technical Support Engineer (French Speaking)

About the role

Eaton is seeking a French‑speaking Technical Support Engineer to join its EMEA Business Service team. You will provide advanced technical assistance for the company’s electrical product portfolio, focusing on single‑phase UPS hardware and software.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver troubleshooting and support via phone, email, web tickets and chat for end‑users, distributors, panel builders and internal partners.
• Collaborate with sales, logistics, quality, product management, R&D, manufacturing and service representatives to resolve pre‑sales and post‑sales issues.
• Handle hardware and software escalations, coordinating with Level 2, Level 3 and Quality teams.
• Maintain up‑to‑date process documentation and contribute to knowledge‑sharing sessions and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Drive customer loyalty by ensuring high‑quality service and reducing customer effort.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Energetic fields (MSc in Electrical is a plus).
• Fluent in English and French.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Understanding of electrical products and basic applications.
• Basic network knowledge.
• Experience troubleshooting UPS hardware and software.
