2D Harness Designer Technician

About the role

LEONI is seeking a Technician 2D Harness Designer to join its wiring systems team in Morocco. You will be responsible for creating and developing automotive wiring harnesses using specialized 2‑D CAD tools, ensuring designs meet both LEONI and customer specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop wiring harnesses for automotive applications.
• Utilise 2D CAD software such as Eldorado and Harness XC.
• Apply harness development processes and methods, including VOBES.
• Perform design tasks efficiently according to LEONI and customer guidelines.
• Support design reviews and collaborate with internal departments, suppliers, and customers.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of wiring harness production processes.
• Use relevant engineering tools and methods such as FME and Design for Manufacturing (DFM).

Required profile

• Technical diploma (Bac +2) in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Hoshin Kanri and continuous improvement techniques.
