AH-64E Helicopter Instructor & Operator (Rabat, Morocco)

About the role

The AH-64E Instructor / Operator will provide advanced flight instruction and tactical training for Moroccan Air Force pilots at the Royal Moroccan Air Base in Rabat. The role combines classroom, simulator, and in‑flight teaching to ensure pilots meet U.S. Army and host‑nation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver AH-64E flight instruction following the U.S. Army Aircrew Training Manual, covering aircraft systems, instrument flight, NVG operations, emergency procedures and combat tactics.
• Conduct pre‑flight briefings, in‑flight coaching, post‑flight debriefs and formal evaluations, documenting performance in Individual Aircrew Training Folders.
• Manage TADSS simulator platforms: develop mission scenarios, configure weather and fault insertion, monitor training events, and maintain equipment readiness.
• Develop and update courseware, SOPs and training manuals as a subject‑matter expert, ensuring alignment with U.S. Army and host‑nation requirements.
• Coordinate with host‑nation and FMS representatives to schedule training, support VIP visits, and ensure contractual compliance.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen with a valid passport; ability to obtain work permit and residency visa for Morocco.
• Minimum 5 years aviator experience, 1,000 AH‑64E flight hours and 250 AH‑64E instructor hours; recent AH‑64E flight within 12 months.
• Graduate of the U.S. Army AH‑64E Instructor Pilot and Methods of Instruction course; AH‑64E v6 qualification preferred.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree; strong English communication skills.
• Ability to work overtime, lift up to 50 lb, and wear required PPE.
