Android Software Engineer

About the role

You will be responsible for architecture and design of our mobile applications, ensuring best‑in‑class performance, stability and quality across devices. You will collaborate with product and design teams to shape features and mentor junior engineers as the mobile team scales.

Key responsibilities

• Design and improve the Android codebase, propose architectural changes and implement new features.
• Work closely with design and product to review UI/UX, cover edge cases and suggest enhancements.
• Write, review and maintain code, triage production bugs and continuously evaluate new technologies for efficiency.
• Mentor other mobile engineers, raising standards as the team grows.

Required profile

• 1‑5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in Java and Android development.
• Experience with architectural patterns, well‑designed APIs, micro‑services and high‑volume data pipelines.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, schema design and disciplined testing practices.
