Area Sales Manager

About the role

Tomra Food is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive sales growth across Morocco. The role is remote, with a preference for candidates based in Agadir or Marrakesh, and focuses on understanding customer needs, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse market potential, track market share and monitor industry trends.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of projects and sales opportunities.
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through order closure.
• Take ownership of commercial targets and consistently deliver results.
• Conduct regular customer visits, demonstrations, webinars and promotional events.
• Collaborate with internal sales, service, pre‑sales engineering and partner teams.
• Provide structured market feedback to internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Higher qualification in technical, commercial or industrial engineering.
• 5+ years of sales experience, preferably with large capital equipment.
• Proven success managing long sales cycles and closing high‑value deals.
• Knowledge of the food industry and consultative, solution‑based sales methodologies.
• Strong commercial acumen, market awareness and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English, Arabic and French.
• Ability to work independently in a remote role and travel up to 50%.
