Assistant F&B Service Manager

About the role

MEDINE GROUP is looking for an Assistant Food and Beverage (F&B) Manager to join its Tamarina Golf & Spa Boutique Hotel in Medine. The role works closely with the F&B Manager so that restaurant, bar and kitchen operations run smoothly, guests receive memorable experiences and the team delivers excellent service. It also covers cost management, quality standards and HACCP-compliant food safety.

Key responsibilities

• Help manage the restaurant, bar and kitchen so that everything runs efficiently and meets high quality standards.
• Work with the F&B Manager to develop food and beverage menus that please guests.
• Check that food and drinks meet quality and presentation standards while following HACCP guidelines.
• Help train team members and keep them motivated to deliver outstanding service.
• Track supplies and help order what is needed to keep the outlets fully stocked.
• Interact with customers to gather feedback and make sure they enjoy their dining experience.
• Assist in organising special food and beverage events.
• Help monitor costs and assist with budgeting to keep the F&B department profitable.
• Perform other duties asked by the supervisor and management.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management or a related field is a plus.
• Previous experience in food and beverage service roles, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory capacity preferred.
• Food handlers' certificate.
• Outgoing and pleasant personality with good human contact.

Required skills

• Good communication skills.
• Fluent English and French.
• Ability to comply with health and safety regulations, HACCP and food and beverage standards.
