Associate – BI Frontend Designer (TARGIT)

About the role

Forterro is looking for an Associate BI Frontend Designer to create high‑quality, pre‑defined dashboards and reports using TARGIT. You will work closely with R&D and Product Management teams in Denmark to deliver intuitive, visually strong, and scalable BI solutions for ERP systems across the Forterro ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build predefined dashboards and reports in TARGIT based on business requirements.
• Translate use cases into clear, intuitive visual dashboards with strong navigation, storytelling, and drill‑down capabilities.
• Define and visualise KPIs that provide meaningful business insights.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure dashboard deployment can scale across customers.
• Continuously improve user experience, visual quality, and consistency of BI solutions.
• Contribute to design guidelines and standards for dashboards.
• Prioritise customer value and usability over unnecessary complexity.
• Participate in customer discussions to gather feedback and inspire improvements.

Required profile

• Strong visual design skills, including colour theory, hierarchy and gestalt principles.
• Ability to design intuitive dashboards with logical data flow and storytelling focus.
• Understanding of KPIs, business logic and ERP‑related domains such as finance, sales, supply chain or manufacturing.
• UX‑focused mindset with emphasis on usability and customer value.
• Experience working in cross‑functional, international teams and confidence to question assumptions.

Required skills

• Experience with BI and data‑visualisation tools (e.g., TARGIT, Power BI, Tableau).
• Background as a BI consultant, data analyst or UI/UX designer working with data.
