Automotive Software Integration Engineer

About the role

The Automotive Software Integration Engineer will join Capgemini’s automotive team to integrate and validate vehicle software built on QNX, Linux and Android Automotive platforms. You will work closely with developers and vehicle integration teams to ensure seamless functionality of features such as infotainment, instrument clusters and over‑the‑air updates.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate and test QNX, Linux and Android‑based vehicle software, including board drivers, hypervisors and middleware components.
• Build and maintain software baselines for developers and perform release testing.
• Develop and execute automated test suites using Robot Framework, ECU Test or similar tools.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers on board bring‑up, rapid prototyping and hardware interface validation (CAN, CAN‑FD, LIN, Ethernet, Bluetooth, USB).
• Support continuous integration pipelines (TeamCity, Jenkins) and static code analysis tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer or related engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of software integration experience in Linux (Yocto) or QNX environments.
• At least 4 years of Android (AOSP) integration experience.
• 2 + years of test‑automation experience (Robot Framework, ECU Test, Test Guide).
• 2 + years of Adaptive AUTOSAR experience.
• Strong documentation and communication skills, able to work onsite at Stellantis facilities.
