AWS Solutions Architect – Remote (Morocco)

About the role

AFRICASHORE is seeking experienced AWS Solutions Architects to design and deliver robust, secure, and cost‑optimized cloud solutions for enterprise‑scale data platforms. The position is remote, serving clients across Morocco and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable AWS architectures for large‑scale data and application workloads.
• Develop cloud‑native solutions using services such as API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, ECS, and Kubernetes.
• Build and manage event‑driven and micro‑service platforms, including serverless components.
• Perform infrastructure cost analysis, optimization, and compliance monitoring.
• Administer Linux‑based environments, troubleshoot cross‑service issues, and ensure configuration management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cloud Computing or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience designing cloud solutions, with a focus on AWS.
• Strong background in Big Data, analytics, or database management in the cloud.
• Proven ability to work independently and deliver precise, high‑quality results.

Required skills

• AWS services: VPC, EC2, S3, Auto Scaling, CloudFormation, Lake Formation, DMS, Kinesis, Redshift, RDS, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, DynamoDB, ECS.
• Container & orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Data technologies: Kafka, HVR, Talend, Hadoop, Hive, Spark.
• Linux system administration (CentOS) and OS hardening.
• Knowledge of cloud security, network topology, and event‑driven architectures.
