Azure Cloud Architect – Hybrid Cloud Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to design, implement and manage hybrid cloud solutions that span on‑premises, Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The role will focus on secure integration, governance, cost optimisation and operational excellence across multi‑cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy hybrid cloud architectures integrating Azure, on‑premises data centres and OCI.
• Architect secure communication channels and private endpoints between multi‑cloud environments.
• Onboard new Azure services into the customer’s digital‑factory framework.
• Manage Azure services such as Site Recovery, App Services, Storage, Import/Export, SQL Server, SQL Database, AKS and Azure NetApp Files.
• Configure governance policies, tagging standards and compliance frameworks (CAF, WAF).
• Enable CNAPP protection for Azure subscriptions.
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform, PowerShell, ARM and Bicep templates.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps for subscription onboarding and deployments.
• Deploy native backup, monitoring and endpoint protection (Carbon Black, Microsoft Defender).
• Apply FinOps practices with CloudBolt for cost governance and optimisation.
• Collaborate with finance and engineering teams to manage cloud spend.
• Troubleshoot Windows/Linux OS, infrastructure and platform issues, including OS hardening and security configuration.
• Manage change requests through ServiceNow.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or architecture, preferably in hybrid environments.
• Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Administrator Associate.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with IT, finance and operations teams.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors is a plus.
