Backend Engineer Annotator

About the role

We are looking for a Backend Engineer Annotator to support the development and evaluation of artificial intelligence models. In this role you will analyze, annotate, and validate backend engineering datasets, code samples, and system design outputs to improve AI performance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and annotate backend code samples and engineering workflows.
• Label datasets involving REST APIs, GraphQL, and backend workflows.
• Validate scalability, performance, and reliability standards of server‑side code.
• Provide structured engineering reasoning and evaluation feedback.
• Review database queries, authentication systems, and microservices for accuracy and security.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• Understanding of authentication mechanisms such as OAuth, JWT, and session management.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and event‑driven design.
• Strong grasp of backend security principles and secure coding standards.
• Familiarity with containerization tools (e.g., Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Prior experience reviewing code or conducting technical assessments.
